Painting and drawing from life Avram Dumitrescu uses acrylic paint, watercolour, digital or printmaking techniques to find beauty, movement and life in everyday objects and environments.

He has illustrated for the University of Texas, British Telecom and the Ulster Tatler magazine, and has been involved in many solo and group exhibitions.

Born in the Channel Islands to Romanian and Irish parents he recently moved from Belfast to Austin to get married.

Avram's contributions to Gastronomica began as monotypes and were digitally combined with collaged tissue paper. You can see more of his work at www.onlineavram.com.
