Mary Beth Heffernan is Assistant Professor of Art at Occidental College. She has exhibited her work in Austria, Berlin, Montreal, New York, and Los Angeles. Her photographs are included in numerous private and public collections, including the UCLA/Hammer Museum, Light Work of Syracuse, NY, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. She recently was an artist-in-residence at the country's oldest cutlery manufacturer, where she produced a series of installations, photographs and writings entitled, Knife.
